Final Girl – The Happy Trails Horror: Terror Card Glossary
Reading time approx. 10–12 minutes
This post concludes our glossary series on Final Girl: The Happy Trails Horror and explains all Terror Cards in German – both the cards of Hans the Butcher and the cards of the Camp Happy Trails location. Both stacks are shuffled at the beginning of the game to form the 10-card Terror Deck, which represents the central threat in each Killer Phase.

The Camp Happy Trails Cards in Detail
Maybe things are starting to go our way!
"Maybe things are starting to go our way!"
Draw the top card of any Item Deck.
Tactics: A pure bonus effect without a Killer action – gives you a new item for free, regardless of your location.
That girl, what's-her-name... she can help us! (Event)
"That girl, what's-her-name... she can help us!"
Place 2 new Victims on the space where you started the game.
Tactics: Brings fresh rescue opportunities, but also new potential victims for Hans into play. Although this card bears the Terror symbol, it is an Event card in content.
I fell asleep. What did I miss?
"I fell asleep. What did I miss?"
Place 1 new Victim at the Cabins.
Tactics: Uncomplicated Victim replenishment without further conditions or risks.
Run for your life!
"Run for your life!"
If there are no Victims on the game board, discard and draw the next Terror card. Otherwise: All Victims not in your space must panic.
Tactics: Spreads Victims chaotically across the map – this can unpredictably bring them closer to Hans. Especially risky if multiple Victims are far from you.
Fire!
"Fire!"
Roll to determine which space catches fire: 1–2 = Cabins, 3–4 = Utility Shed, 5–6 = Dock. All Victims in that space are killed. All Item cards in that space are discarded. If you or a foe are there, you each lose 1 Health (unavoidable).
Tactics: One of the most brutal cards in the entire deck – can wipe out multiple Victims simultaneously and even hit you if you are at one of the three locations. Items at that location are also lost.
What's that noise? Let's go and see!
"What's that noise? Let's go and see!"
If there are no Victims on the game board, discard and draw the next Terror card. Otherwise: All Victims move 1 space toward the nearest foe.
Tactics: The opposite of caution – Victims actively run towards danger. Especially dangerous in combination with other cards that then trigger an attack.
Let's go see if the rumors are true! (Event)
"Let's go see if the rumors are true!"
Place 2 new Victims on the space where Hans started the game.
Tactics: Brings fresh Victims directly near the Killer's starting space – depending on how far Hans has already moved, this can be more or less dangerous for the new Victims.
You can't save us... no one can!
"You can't save us... no one can!"
If there are no Victims on the game board, discard and draw the next Terror card. Otherwise: All Victims in your space must panic twice.
Tactics: Particularly annoying if you have just gathered Victims to take them to an exit – they could run away due to double panic before you can save them.
The Hans Cards in Detail
He wants fresh blood! (×2)
"He wants fresh blood!"
If there are no Victims on the game board, discard and draw the next Terror card. Otherwise: Hans moves towards his target and attacks.
Tactics: A "standard" Killer action without special effect. Appears twice in the deck – a simple but regular type of threat.
He just came out of nowhere!
"He just came out of nowhere!"
Place Hans at the furthest possible target. Draw the next Terror card.
Tactics: A real surprise card – Hans "teleports" to the furthest target without attacking in this Killer phase. Dangerous mainly for the next round, as Hans is suddenly in a completely different place.
He just keeps coming! (×3)
"He just keeps coming!"
Hans moves towards his target and attacks.
Tactics: The most frequent card in Hans's deck (appears three times) – simple but reliable Killer action without additional effect.
Dark Feast (Dark Power)
For each dead Victim, Hans recovers 1 Health.
Tactics: Makes Hans significantly harder to kill the more Victims have already died. A strong incentive to actively rescue Victims instead of letting them die – each death heals Hans a bit.
Unholy Rage (Minor Dark Power)
Hans performs an additional attack for each attack symbol on the currently active Killer Action.
Tactics: Significantly intensifies any attack-based Killer action – once this card is revealed, all future attacks by Hans become even more dangerous.
Hans wants me. He's always wanted me. (×2)
"Hans wants me. He's always wanted me."
Hans moves directly towards the Final Girl (not towards Victims) and attacks.
Tactics: One of the most dangerous cards personally for you – here, Hans explicitly targets you, regardless of whether Victims are closer. Appears twice in the deck.
Unholy Speed (Minor Dark Power)
Hans moves 1 additional space for each movement symbol on the currently active Killer Action.
Tactics: Increases Hans's effective range with every movement action – makes it significantly harder to escape him by pure distance.
He's just standing there! (×2)
"He's just standing there!"
Hans moves twice but does not attack.
Tactics: One of the few "harmless" cards in Hans's deck – he only moves without attacking this turn. A good opportunity for you to act with less risk.
Horrific Hammer Rush
If there are no Victims on the game board, discard and draw the next Terror card. Otherwise: Hans moves and attacks twice. For each Victim killed in this way, Bloodlust increases.
Tactics: One of the most brutal standard Killer actions – a double attack with a guaranteed Bloodlust increase on every hit.
He kept swinging his hammer and killing and killing...
"He kept swinging his hammer and killing and killing..."
If there are no Victims on the game board, discard and draw the next Terror card. Otherwise: Hans moves and attacks – and then repeats this sequence completely once more.
Tactics: Effectively two full move-and-attack rounds in a single Killer phase – one of the most dangerous cards in the entire deck.
Taking Souvenirs
"Taking Souvenirs"
If there are no Victims on the game board, discard and draw the next Terror card. Otherwise: Hans moves and attacks twice. For each Victim killed during the Killer phase: +1 additional damage.
Tactics: A self-reinforcing card – the more Victims Hans kills in this phase, the harder his subsequent hits will be in the same phase. Especially dangerous if multiple Victims are in his space.
Conclusion
The Terror Deck is the core of every Killer Phase – unlike Event cards, a new card is used here in every single round. The Camp Happy Trails cards focus primarily on panic mechanics and location dangers, while the Hans cards become increasingly brutal once his Minor Dark Powers (Unholy Rage, Unholy Speed) are revealed. Understanding which cards appear more frequently (e.g., "He just keeps coming!" three times) and which combinations become particularly dangerous can help you plan your action phase more effectively.
This concludes our glossary series for Final Girl: The Happy Trails Horror – from the Event Cards to the Items to the Terror Cards. Good luck against Hans!
