The next horror doesn't start at the table, it starts with setup. Our premium insert for Final Girl brings order to your collection and keeps every important component within reach. For this system we've developed an insert for the Core Box as well as an insert for the Feature Film Box, with a standalone insert for the Box of Props in the works. The Killer insert also features a built-in dice tray.

This insert is built for anyone who owns more than one Feature Film Box or plans to grow their collection over time, and for anyone who values keeping the original packaging intact.

Tip: Many players have been using the Feature Film Box as a dice tray. With the built-in dice tray in the Killer insert, that's a thing of the past, just grab the dice from the Core Box, roll them right in the insert, and put them back.

4 boxes become 2

Core Box, Feature Film Box, Box of Props, Miniatures Box, up to four boxes on the table before the game even starts. With this Final Girl insert you bring that down to two boxes. Everything has its fixed spot, fits seamlessly into the flow of the game, and is always within reach. The components you need during play sit exactly where you'd expect them, and played cards go straight back into the insert provided. No searching, no rearranging, no interrupting the game.

Other insert solutions on the market rely on an additional, standalone storage box for multiple components at once. That means giving up the original packaging and adding yet another box to your shelf. Our system stays inside the original boxes, keeps your collection's shelf look consistent, and lets you expand box by box as new Feature Film Boxes come out. That's exactly what sets this insert apart from most other solutions you'll find for Final Girl.

Why ABS instead of PLA?

PLA is cheaper, but it warps under heat that comes up quickly in everyday gaming life. Playing in the car on the way to game night at a friend's place. The box sitting briefly in the summer sun. Transport in a hot trunk. High-quality ABS stays dimensionally stable in all of these situations, the same material well-known toy manufacturers use in injection molding, applied here through 3D printing. The insert still sits just as securely years later as it did on day one, durable, stable, and without any loss of quality. That's exactly what "Premium" stands for in the name of this insert.

For the remaining components of the Box of Props (Signature Action Cards, Desperation Die, Ultimate Dice, and more) we're developing a standalone insert that fits directly into the original Box of Props. This insert will also be offered without game material.

Why not fit the entire Box of Props into the Core Box insert?

We stick to the publisher's well thought-out concept and deliberately don't tamper with a structure that already works well. That's why we continue to assign the four Final Girl cards from the Box of Props to the Box of Props insert, exactly the way Van Ryder Games shipped them. If you'd rather store the cards in the Core Box insert instead, that's no problem at all, there's plenty of room for it. The same goes for the Final Girls from the Feature Film Boxes, which sit in our Final Girl insert by default. They too can be moved into the Core Box insert together with their Special Items without any issue, the card compartment holds 50 standard cards at 63.5×88.9 mm and 50 mini cards at 44×68 mm, each sleeved up to 60 microns, plenty of room for every Final Girl from every box you own. The Desperation Die, the Ultimate Dice, and the Signature Action Cards only ever come into play when you deliberately choose to use them, and the Feature Film Box itself always brings only its own, film-specific components, independent of the Core Box or the Box of Props. That's why the Box of Props gets its own insert, regardless of how often it actually ends up on the table and how many Feature Film Boxes are currently in your collection.

The insert system is consistently modular, similar to what you know from well-known toy manufacturers, just realized through 3D printing. The Final Girl insert for Killer & Location is identical across every Feature Film Box, only the modules used are tailored to the respective film. For every Feature Film Box you own, you order the matching Feature Film Box insert, and we fit it out with the right modules for your film.

You only need to order the Core Box insert once, it applies to every Feature Film Box. And that's exactly the advantage for anyone growing their collection over the years: the system grows with you, without starting from scratch with every new box or needing an extra storage box.

Example: You own Happy Trails Horror and Carnage at the Carnival. You order the Core Box insert once and the Feature Film Box insert twice, each with the matching modules for your film. The Final Girl insert for Killer & Location is the same every time, only the modules differ.

If you ever part ways with a Feature Film Box and pick up a new one, in theory you'd only need to reorder the matching modules, not the entire Killer and Final Girl insert. Just reach out to us at support@redesigninsert.com, and we'll work out the right solution together.

What's included

• Option 1 – Core Box insert: insert for the Final Girl Core Box (yes / no)
• Option 2 – Feature Film Box insert: Killer insert + Final Girl insert with built-in dice tray (yes / no)
• Option 3 – Which Feature Film Box? Only selectable if Option 2 was chosen, pick your film from the list.

Already have the Core Box insert? Then just choose Option 2 and 3, no need to order the Core Box insert again.

Note: Individual modules currently cannot be ordered separately. The Box of Props insert is coming soon as a standalone product.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to buy the Core Box insert again for every Feature Film Box?
No, you only order the Core Box insert once. It covers your entire collection, no matter how many Feature Film Boxes you own.

What happens if I sell a Feature Film Box and get a new one?
In that case you'd only need to reorder the matching modules for the new film, not the entire Killer and Final Girl insert. Just get in touch with us at support@redesigninsert.com, and we'll find a solution together.

Does the insert also fit older Feature Film Boxes from Series 1 and 2?
Yes, the system is compatible with all Feature Film Boxes from Series 1 through 4.
